The tulip decorations on top looked almost too pretty to slice into, but I'm glad we did. That rich buttery cookie base disappeared fast at her Mother's Day lunch, and the whole family kept going back for corners.
Ordered this for my mom and we cut into it after lunch — the cookie base is thick and genuinely buttery, not dry at all. The tulip design on top looked even nicer in person than in the photos, and it fed all six of us with a few slices left over.
The tulip decorations on top were almost too pretty to cut into, but I'm glad we did. That buttery cookie base held up great even after sitting out during dinner, and Mom went back for a second slice before we'd finished clearing the plates.
