Bought this for my mom and we split the giant cookie over tea that same afternoon. It stayed soft and fresh, and the hand-decorated icing looked almost too nice to cut into.
The icing detail on this cookie is honestly too pretty to eat, but I got over that fast. Sharing it over tea with my mom on Mother's Day was the whole point, and the freshly baked sugar cookie held up perfectly.
The cookie was huge — way bigger than I expected — and the icing held up perfectly even after shipping. My mom and I split it over tea on Sunday and she kept saying how fresh it tasted.
