南瓜燈籠餅乾蛋糕

Brought this to a Halloween party and everyone attacked the icing jack-o-lantern face before we even cut slices. The chocolate chip cookie base is thick and chewy, not dry like most decorated cookies.

The cookie cake is way bigger than I expected for the price, and the chocolate chip dough was still soft in the middle. The icing jack-o-lantern face held up perfectly on the drive over, so it looked great on the dessert table before we carved into it.

The cookie itself is thick and chewy, and the chocolate chip dough really comes through under the icing. My only gripe is that the orange frosting was a bit sweeter than I'd like. Still, carving into it with a knife before serving was a fun touch.
